At Brain'up, we love Quora, a questions/answers website, last week someone asked that question, here is the great answer that gave Amit Banerjee.
The anwser from Amit Banerjee: "Practice the same thing, at exactly the same time everyday. You will be amazed at the productivity discipline can bring.
I mostly read between 11PM-midnight, after finishing my dinner. This is a habit I have built. If I read at different times of the day, my brain gets distracted. However, at that specific time, I can read better, faster and can digest things quickly.
I practice coding in the afternoon. I don't do it at other times of the day. Its like putting your head to a routine, so it knows what to do when.
I play music in the evening, after coming back from work. Just for 15-20 minutes.
So this lets me carry out multiple things on any given day with good efficiency. Reading, music, work - all at the same time.
I play video games just before dinner. Half an hour.
The trick is to do a specific thing at exactly the same time, every day. There are of course exceptions that might work well for you but if you religiously follow this, you will achieve more."
